CHOIR and MUSIC SUPPORT
Music is a main part of our Sunday Service and special events. Our choir
meets at our church for practice weekly on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM CT.
We are fortunate to have Mr. Charles (Buster) Irvin and Mrs. Carol Irvin to oversee the choir
as well as providing organ and piano music during our services.
Buster and Carol are known here in the Cumberland County area for their affiliation
with the well-thought-of Cumberland County Playhouse.
SUNDAY SERVICE LITURGISTS
Our members volunteer as Liturgist in our Sunday Service. Their participation and prayer
leadership helps to create a warm. friendly and loving worship atmosphere at Westminster.
SUNDAY SERVICE GREETERS and USHERS
The first hand of friendship is extended to each member and visitor at Westminster Services
by our volunteer Ushers who also take on the important role of 'Greeters" as well as seating members and providing Offering/Collection
support. It is always a pleasure to be so warmly welcomed here on Sunday mornings.
ON-GOING CHRISTIAN EDUCATION for ADULTS and CHILDREN
Weekly education classes led by member volunteers (or outside speakers as appropriate) are held
as part of our Sunday morning routine and often one meeting day during the week.
The Sunday class is at 9:30AM.
The Women's Bible Study gathers at 10:30AM on Thursdays. This
session is led by Doris Beuttler and the topics we choose last a month to six weeks. You can join in on any
Wednesday! (Please note that this study session is suspended during the summer months
and will resume in September.)
